CEO’s Corner: Purpose and Authenticity
Sometime last year, I was invited to speak at the Authentic Manhood conference by Pastor Ntsiki Maposa. He had read my book “How to multiply your value and create Extraordinary impact” and thought that the men in his ministry needed to hear this message.
On the 5th of May this year, it finally happened. We had a great time as I shared on the 6 key principles in the book and specifically zoned into how we can live a purposeful and authentic life as we do business. I shared that for you to multiply your value in their marketplace, you need to:
1. Understand their value.
2. Believe in your value.
3. Equip yourself for value multiplication.
4. Revolutionize your mindset.
5. Adopt key entrepreneurial habits and
6. Give yourself away.
It was interesting to engage with the men who were in the room. Some started writing down some action plans around areas of talent, competency, and passion that they had neglected for a while. Almost all 30 men bought books.
Pastor Maphosa said we should now do this workshop with the whole church so that everyone gets a chance to discover and fulfil their potential.
I also enjoyed the message that Mr Loyiso Phantshwa shared on Authentic Manhood. He shared how we need to focus on the intrinsic values instead of the extrinsic stuff. That was a word in season for me. Apostle Peter Barns had shared the previous night about believing in our positioning and authority in Christ and that kicked us off well.
Thanks to Mona-Lisa Maposa for the book you gifted to Pastor Maposa. And thank you Pastor for this timely conference. Looking forward to next year.
